Love Where You Live Connector · Last updated 21 August 2026
This policy covers the Love Where You Live Connector, a Model Context Protocol server run locally by a single individual to manage their own Pinterest business accounts. It is not a consumer product. There is no website to sign in to, no user account to create, and no service offered to anyone other than the developer.
Once the developer authorizes the app on their own Pinterest account, it can read and create boards on that account, read and create and edit and delete pins on those boards, read basic account details such as username and account type, and read analytics for that account's own pins. It only ever touches the account that authorized it. It cannot and does not access other people's boards, pins, profiles, private data, or messages.
The app stores a Pinterest access token and refresh token, plus its own app credentials, in one file on the developer's computer. That file is not shared, not synced, not backed up to any server, and not committed to version control. No Pinterest user data, browsing history, or personal information about any other person is collected or stored.
None. No data is sold, rented, licensed, shared with advertisers, or transmitted to any third party. The only external service the app communicates with is the Pinterest API itself.
The app is a command-line program with no browser interface. It sets no cookies, embeds no pixels, and performs no tracking of any kind. This documentation page is static and does likewise.
Access can be revoked at any time from Pinterest account settings, under apps with access. Revoking takes effect immediately and stops the app from reading or writing anything.
On disconnection, every piece of Pinterest-derived data held by the app is deleted within seven days, and in practice immediately. Specifically:
Nothing survives disconnection. The app retains no Pinterest data after access is revoked, and there is no separate deletion request to file, because there is no server-side store to delete from. Should any question remain, a deletion confirmation can be requested at the contact address below.
This app and this website are independent. They are not endorsed by, affiliated with, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with Pinterest, Inc. Pinterest is a trademark of Pinterest, Inc. The app is an integration built by a third-party developer against Pinterest's public API, and any reference to Pinterest here is descriptive only.
The app is not directed at children and collects no information from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new date above.
